Trouble logging in

To log in as a parent, visit dashboard.nightzookeeper.com/login. Your username is your email address. You can change your password on the login page by clicking Forgot your password.

To log in as a child, visit nightzookeeper.com/edu/login. Their password can be changed by clicking Profile, then Settings, and then the pencil next to the password.

The Night Zookeeper app

You can download the Night Zookeeper app on your Apple iPad or iPhone from the App Store. After downloading the app, press I have an account. Enter the email address used to create the account and your password, then press Login. Your child can pick up where they left off—it’s perfect for learning on the go.

Adding or removing children from your plan

To add a child to your existing plan, log in to your Dashboard and open Manage Account. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Add child.

To remove a child profile from your account, email support@nightzookeeper.com and include the username of the profile you wish to remove. Once an account has been removed, all its data will be lost and cannot be recovered.

Manage subscription

You can manage your subscription from the Manage Account section of your Dashboard. If you cancel, your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period. Cancellation takes effect from the next billing date.

If you subscribed through the App Store, your subscription is managed directly by Apple. You can view or manage it in the App Store under Subscriptions. For further help managing your Apple subscription, contact Apple Support.

Technical issues

For minor technical issues, try these steps first:

• Log out and back in: clear your browser’s cache before logging back in.
• Try a different browser: if you’re using the browser version, check whether the issue occurs in another browser.
• Use a private or incognito window: this can help identify browser-related issues.
• Check for updates: make sure your browser or Night Zookeeper app is up to date.

• your child’s username;
• the device and browser you’re using;
• a screenshot or video showing the issue; and
• any other details that may help us understand what’s happening.

Network Error message

This can sometimes be caused by an ad blocker installed in your browser. We recommend unblocking these domains:

• .nightzookeeper.com — core domain
• cdn.nightzookeeper.com — animal creator storage
• .cloudinary.com — image storage
• .googleapis.com — fonts
• .stripe.com — payment system
• .polyfill.io — support for older browsers
• .raven.com — bug reporting

Download or print your child’s work

Take a screenshot of your child’s work to download or print it. Press Command + Shift + 4 on a Mac or Alt + Print Screen on most Windows devices. On tablets and smartphones, use the device’s screen capture feature.

Install a speech to text extension

Superfans

Children can become Superfans at any point, completely free. When they click the icon on their profile while logged into the Zoo, a request is sent to their parent’s email address. Once approved, they receive a special badge on their icon and 20 orbs.

We may sometimes ask parents to give feedback or share special offers and competitions in parenting groups. In return, we’ll give you free resources, merchandise, and early access to new features.

Referral

Refer your friends and earn $5/£5 off your next bill for every successful referral. Your friend will also receive $5/£5.

Night Zookeeper’s friending feature allows your child to follow friends and leave comments on each other’s writing. To get your child’s friends started, share your referral link with their parents. Once their trial ends and their paid subscription starts, you and your friend will each receive $5/£5 credit towards your next subscription payment.

You can find your referral link in your Dashboard and refer as many people as you like. Terms and conditions apply.
